Recently I had heard\u00a0about a friend of mine who had been diagnosed back in September as having terminal cancer in her brain and back. How they had found out about it was because\u00a0she had a couple of car wrecks after\u00a0blacking out. Thankfully nobody was hurt and the cars were\u00a0 the only things that had been damaged.<\/p>\n
I think after they had got her to the hospital they did a MRI or a CAT scan only \u00a0to determine\u00a0that\u00a0she had\u00a0cancer. Unfortunately they said it was so far progressed that she had only\u00a0\u00a0two weeks to live. Anyway she\u00a0 started her Chemo treatments immediately and during her treatments she had met\u00a0 an Indian lady who was a\u00a0Christian and\u00a0she\u00a0prayed for her.<\/p>\n
Before I share anymore\u00a0I need to give you a little background\u00a0about my friend Linda. First of all she\u00a0was not a Christian and\u00a0\u00a0is ethnically Jewish. Many Jews are conditioned not to believe in Jesus even though Jesus himself\u00a0was Jewish. Anyway she said that when she was in the hospital that on several occasions at night Jesus would appear to her. After hearing this\u00a0I really believe her story and I have heard of similar testimonies of this same thing happening among Jews and Muslims alike. Also as she was sharing\u00a0about this she was crying so I knew that her heart had really\u00a0been touched. Now her family probably \u00a0just wants to believe\u00a0 that she was just\u00a0hallucinating\u00a0 or somehow \u00a0blame it on the medication because for a Jew to believe in Jesus it\u00a0is quite a big deal.<\/p>\n
As I began to think about her situation I realize that outside of this lady praying for her she had never been preconditioned in expecting that Jesus would visit her\u00a0 but rather\u00a0on the contrary it was probably the last person she\u00a0had expected to visit her. Here previous position before all this had\u00a0 happened was that generally all religions are valid to some degree and as \u00a0far as I was concerned she could of just as easily of seen other manifestations of other\u00a0deities or religious leaders such as Buddha, Muhammad, or someone who\u00a0would had\u00a0more popularity among the Jewish culture\u00a0such as Moses.<\/p>\n
Anyway now her family is upset with her over this and I couldn’t really interview her extensively\u00a0 because her family was in the home while we were visiting and all \u00a0she could do is\u00a0whisper to us about her experience. There was really only one time that I had the opportunity to question her a little more about the situation and this is\u00a0only\u00a0because the family had left the room for a little while.<\/p>\n
So anyway I had prayed for these dear people for some years and I was so\u00a0happy \u00a0to see her receive Jesus in her heart.<\/p>\n
