As moral agents we feel shame and guilt even when no one else knows or is watching and what best explains such thoughts except there be a morally perfect being who oversees our heart and conscience, Romans 2:14-16.

A faith that can’t stand up under scrutiny is a faith not worth believing in and to be sincere but sincerely wrong is not a virtue but a pity.

A worm of a man is someone who is always trying to squirm out of God’s hands in order to live in the dirt.

What do you crave in this world, Junk or Soul Food? Do you consume that which satiates and nourishes your Soul or do you stuff yourself with Junk as hoping, beyond hope, to fill and satisfy your hunger pains in leaving you malnourished and hungry, again and again?

John 6:35

35 Jesus said to them, “I am the bread of life. He who comes to me will not be hungry, and he who believes in me will never be thirsty.

Regardless of ultimate truth, some have a need to be right even though truth has no needs and therefore it becomes right to make sure you’re right about what you hold and believe to be true, #myregards.

When in Israel I perhaps crossed Jesus path but for those who are unable to make the journey you can still follow in His steps.

Within the context of hazard communication comes the right to understand the gospel message.

Some like to hear themselves talk yet when Jesus was given the opportunity to speak before His accusers He remained silent.

Dead religion is like watering a dead plant in hopes of getting it to live while the only thing that is alive are the those that keep watering it and yet I am only aware of one person who rose from the dead to bring living water to all who are thirsty.

I overheard a lady say that she got a ticket for speeding but didn’t know how that happened and if such ignorance did not prevail in avoiding ticketing then how will others dare to escape in violating God’s eternal laws which He has placed in their hearts without excuse, Romans 2:14-16

I have met a lot of smart people but comparatively speaking only a few of them were wise.

Proverbs 9:10

The fear of Yahweh is the beginning of wisdom.
The knowledge of the Holy One is understanding.

There has only been one Great King that has graced this land and His residence wasn’t Graceland.

Watching the parade of nations during the Olympics as carrying their nations flags reminds me how every tribe, tongue, and nation will be presented as worshiping the King of Glory who has no rival or competitor as bringing all people’s under His banner of peace something which these man-made games could never do.

Darwin’s devolution was from theism, to deism, to agnosticism but even he didn’t drag his knuckles so low to become an atheist like many of his protégés of common descent.

Have you ever noticed that sometimes the critical experts of the Bible are people who have not always studied it but know just enough to be dangerous in mishandling its claims

Watching the Olympics and seeing the pursuit of human excellence as to obtain a piece of metal should be nothing in comparison to something that could be melted down to make for an eternal crown.

A Bible left on a shelf becomes a dust collector and Chesterton’s words seem to apply here as “we hold the dust and let the gold go free.”

God is in the business of taking ordinary things and using them extraordinarily.

Agnosticism, in my opinion, is more about being uncommitted than a lack of knowledge.

The agnosia of an agnostic is more about losing sensibilities rather than ones senses.

Sharing the good news about Jesus with someone who’s not receptive is like telling someone who has no sense of direction how to get there from here, but when you try to tell them, as even with a GPS (Bible), they somehow just know your wrong and will not follow the directions as if their intuition is a more reliable indicator. #recalculating.

My wife went to jury duty for the first time and she sent me a text to pray that she won’t be chosen as a juror, and because she is Jewish I sent her a text back saying it’s too late you’ve already been chosen.

One of the biggest tragedies of my life is being misunderstood as controversial thou intended to be uncontroversial. I suppose that’s because faulty words or actions are easier to notice than ignorant or good intentions. No wonder the bible talks about being quick to listen and slow to speak. Perhaps had I listened more often it would have saved me from having to speak so much in giving countless apologies.

I’ve never been much on fiction to grab the imagination as I figure there are plenty of real life stories to go around, e.g. Bible.

I know there will be no weeping of sadness in heaven but I’ve always wondered about tears of joy?

Trying out Jesus won’t work as there is no return policy.

Some may regard Christianity as the irony of belief hoping their unbelief doesn’t end with the agony of defeat.

Some will tell you when you try to share your faith with them that they have their own religion at which point you should remind them that you do too but the good thing about yours is that you’re willing to share.

If you really want to get people to receive something important then try to be funny-serious, funny is a way for others to feel comfortable enough to open the door in order for serious to remain long enough to effectively make its plea.

To give honor and glory to a fictitious Marvel character is really a subtle way of imagining themselves as superheroes who have no need for the reality of a marvelous God.

Blaise Pascal once said, “the heart has its reasons which reason knows nothing”, yet if we were to reduce this statement to pure emotionalism then such thinking can become irrational and unreliable, nonetheless, such deep-seated feelings have a tendency to overrule logical thinking, as unreasonably deadly, in leading to heart failure.

I once knew somebody who was constantly complaining about how the GPS was getting them lost and I’ve used the same device with hardly any problems and so I decided to watch what they were doing to see what was going on and it didn’t take me long to figure out that it wasn’t the GPS’s fault, as it was giving the right directions, it’s just they weren’t either paying attention or perhaps misunderstood what the GPS was telling them. Anyway, I think this is a great illustration of the Bible as many have claimed that they have read it and like the GPS they strongly believe it to be wrong yet the real problem isn’t the device, it’s operator error#hermeneutics101.

When I had my hernia surgery my wife opened doors for me and had you not known the details of the situation it would offensively look out-of-place which is similar to how people, who are ignorant of the Bible, make snap judgments over something they don’t fully understand.

(Worldly Perfection)

Perfect! perfecting something that doesn’t lead to Perfection.

(Godly Perfection)

Hebrews 10:14

14 For by one offering he has perfected forever those who are being sanctified.

It is so easy to hear and believe the sins of others while ignoring our own as unbelievably unheard of.

I’d rather die broke in hitting God’s will, than have plenty and miss it.

The problem with the modern gospel, if you can call it that, is that the message has been massaged to relax those who were uptight about its original intentions.

If you need to see how well a so-called Christian organization is driving then watch out for its swerving deviance over sexuality and it’s statistics on the fatal wreckage of its unborn lives.

The irony of biblical unbelief is a so-called crafty Christianity that takes up the Edenic lies of the Devil by stating, did God really say.

Sometimes you have to endure in listening to the lies of the enemy just long enough to understand the strategic falsehoods which have been loudly and longly blurted into the ears of our friends so that we may interrupt the monologue as speaking truth over and above such an enemy as to expose and silence this false witness that has deceitfully testified in swaying them in making erroneous judgments.

If your aim is to take a potshot against the Bible then fire away as there have been many overconfident marksmen who have pelted this target thinking they were a good shot when they have failed to miss the mark.

When trying to make a good impression it would help if you could hear yourself as others do, in that they are probably less impressed with yourself than you are.

The Olympians receive their earthly reward on the podium of life while others are being cheered on by those among the ‘hall of faith’ in anticipation of receiving the greatest honor of all in given the crown of life by our Lord and Savior with the congratulatory honor of stating, “well done, thou good and faithful servant”.

The hypocrisy of sin is like trying to put nail polish on a toenail fungus; it doesn’t treat the embedded issue it just attempts to hide its unsightly appearance in hopes that it won’t be visible to others, as including God #backtothegarden.

If I’ve only reached a few people, according to the Holy Spirit’s work, then I feel I’ve contributed beyond myself in bringing some others along in this adventurous journey of faith.

Some may treat the Bible like a microwave in hoping to nourish themselves with a quick study.

Some people are disinterested in adopting as realizing that it’s not their flesh and blood and yet Jesus gave His flesh and blood that we may be adopted into His family.

Godly influence within the context of family is like passing the baton in running the race so that all will get the prize.

The scientist might object that the Bible is not a science book but how does that disprove that anything stated about science in the Bible is necessarily false, in that, all truth is God’s truth, whether by revelation of a textbook or through the pages of scripture.

There is a difference among religions as one may submit out of duty while another love; how you tell the difference is if one feels more like a taskmaster than a partner.

People are like plants and if you put them in the right environment they will thrive and grow and if not they will only end up being discarded.

John 15:1-11

15 “I am the true vine, and my Father is the farmer. Every branch in me that doesn’t bear fruit, he takes away. Every branch that bears fruit, he prunes, that it may bear more fruit. You are already pruned clean because of the word which I have spoken to you. Remain in me, and I in you. As the branch can’t bear fruit by itself, unless it remains in the vine, so neither can you, unless you remain in me. I am the vine. You are the branches. He who remains in me, and I in him, the same bears much fruit, for apart from me you can do nothing. If a man doesn’t remain in me, he is thrown out as a branch, and is withered; and they gather them, throw them into the fire, and they are burned. If you remain in me, and my words remain in you, you will ask whatever you desire, and it will be done for you. “In this is my Father glorified, that you bear much fruit; and so you will be my disciples. Even as the Father has loved me, I also have loved you. Remain in my love. 10 If you keep my commandments, you will remain in my love; even as I have kept my Father’s commandments, and remain in his love. 11 I have spoken these things to you, that my joy may remain in you, and that your joy may be made full.

It’s hard to focus when you don’t have enough light to properly see where you’re going.

John 8:12

12 Again, therefore, Jesus spoke to them, saying, “I am the light of the world. He who follows me will not walk in the darkness, but will have the light of life.”

According to a Chinese proverb, teachers are said to open the doors but you must enter by yourself and may I suggest that teachers can only instruct others that Jesus is at the door but it’s up to you to answer the knock. #someoneknockingatyourdoor

Essentially if you are questioning why you always end up attracting the wrong people then maybe it’s because you are just like them whether you want to admit it or not, Romans 1:18-32. #introspection

A fulfilled life is a life that is fully filled with God.

John 10:10

10 The thief only comes to steal, kill, and destroy. I came that they may have life, and may have it abundantly.

Living an unexamined life is like a rock song that I used to sing when I was young as enjoying the music without taking any thought of its words. Just rocking out without giving any real consideration to the lyrics as driven by the emotion of its rhythmic beat as passionately ranting words though oblivious to its meaning and this behavior can also be found in the church as going through the motions of mouthing words without considering its contextual significance as to the Rock, the living Word.

Following my father’s death I stayed in a city close to where the funeral was being held and during my time there I went to a restaurant where I just happened to be sitting next to a group of people who were talking about my dad and it got me to thinking; what were the chances of me eavesdropping on such a conversation?
Now consider how much more knowledge an omnipresent God has concerning your conversations and thought life and in what manner will He overhear you speaking or thinking about Him as the Heavenly Father?

Hell is the only place where God has no service plan #getconnected.

How crazy is it to spend much of your temporal life worrying about what others think about you but disregard God’s thoughts towards you for all eternity?

Jeremiah 29:11-13

11 For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says Yahweh, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you hope and a future. 12 You shall call on me, and you shall go and pray to me, and I will listen to you. 13 You shall seek me, and find me, when you shall search for me with all your heart.

Have you ever been so captivated by a fictitious movie thinking it real only to be abruptly reminded and disappointed when the show ends as suddenly realizing it was all just a fantasy and a waste of time? This reminds me how the atheist is caught up in the drama of a soap opera life on how the world turns in which one day the program will be over in having to watch God’s real life production.

Your life may be the only Bible that people misread

A baby has a natural urge to suckle in finding food but instead of giving it the milk of God’s word some have tried different formulas to counterfeit God’s nourishment as to pacify the child’s hunger pain.

People are often fascinated with the magical powers of darkness as to believe in the supernatural realm while disdaining the miraculous power of Jesus.

I wished I could have watched the movies so as to write about something inspirational it’s just that I find it loathsome to dumpster dive as sifting through the garbage to find something edible to salvage.

You can’t reason with unreason

We have no problem in placing our hand over our hearts in standing attention to pledge our allegiance to the country, it’s the one nation under God part that causes people to heartlessly squirm about.

Is it necessary to treat the necessary being of God as unnecessary?

Repeating the mantra of a koan to disengage the mind is not only counterintuitive but unlivable.

Quoting a quote doesn’t make it right.

Quoting the red letters of Christ doesn’t necessarily give anyone authority, as authoritative, as the authority is already inherent within the text without them having to exist to mystically give it power or animate it because the authority ultimately rests in its Author alone who has been given all authority as the Word whose authority we are under #sons of Sceva.

I’m not tired of C.S. Lewis, I’m just wearied over some who have over quoted him in lacking the originality of the Holy Spirit in speaking to us afresh.

We must be careful in giving credit to the Holy Spirit when it’s not due as stating thus saith the Lord.

My wife thought she had heard an Olympian say something about the Bahai when in actuality what was said was raising the ‘bar high’.  Accordingly, she misunderstand in not being familiar with such an idiomatic expression which got me to wondering how guilty we are in misunderstanding the language of the Bible as misquoting the meaning of its phrases?#rightlydividingtheword

While the world is reading palms to see their future it is God who has put our future in His hands. #gotthewholeworldinhishands

Reading the psalms is inspirational while studying palms is irrational

The flavor fullness of living is to savor both the sweet and sour portions of life.

If sharing the gospel with people were like the conservation efforts of fishing then it should be better managed by getting the fishing guides to take the anglers to areas that have plenty of fish rather than overfishing the easier more familiar spots. #gonefishing

Life is like flying on a plane as you can expect some turbulence before arriving at your destination.

The adventure of living is to have an unordinary life.

If some could envision the biblical warnings of Hell as a virtual reality then perhaps they would get the heavenly message in understanding the gospel before it’s too late.

Some people treat the flight attendant presentation just like the preacher as ignoring the critical instructions that might save their lives.

My wife said she would like to travel first class one time and I told her she’d have to wait for her heavenly trip home.

I had a dialogue with my wife about her being chosen but chosen last and then she reminded me that according to the Bible that the last shall be first #shegotme

Reading through a particular biblical archaeology book it reminded me that sometimes you have to sift a lot of worthless dirt in order to find a few fragmented pieces of value.

Some magazines are no better than to be rolled up and used as a fly swatter.

The way you can tell if you’re lost is if you’re following the lost gospels. #blindleadingtheblind

The value of the gnostic gospels is in marketing a landfill of trash as buried treasure.

Some people are bibliophiles but hate the bible.

Some can appreciate the beautiful architect of image bearers but I prefer the natural beauty of a Master landscaper over skyscrapers.

It’s ironic for an abortion doctor to hypocritically take the hippocratic oath to save lives #doublestandard

Some are more concerned about how the paper towel roll has been put on the dispenser than wiping their dirty hands and in much the same way some are more preoccupied with utilitarian functions than dealing with the filthiness of their sins.

People have a tendency to work their genealogy to include someone famous but disregard the famed God of their origins.

Its a messed up world when a society protects the rights of Mother Nature while denying them for her unborn children, #humanlivesmatter

Psalm 139:13-16

13

For you formed my inmost being.

You knit me together in my mother’s womb.

14

I will give thanks to you,

for I am fearfully and wonderfully made.

Your works are wonderful.

My soul knows that very well.

15

My frame wasn’t hidden from you,

when I was made in secret,

woven together in the depths of the earth.

16

Your eyes saw my body.

In your book they were all written,

the days that were ordained for me,

when as yet there were none of them.

Some atheists don’t believe in moral absolutes but hope that others do.

Some don’t believe in God for any other reason than they don’t want to.

I’ve been so busy living life I forgot I was supposed to enjoy it.

Though beautifully artful, raking lines in the dirt is not religion but when Jesus wrote in the sand it brought a religious conviction that cut to the heart.

Have you ever noticed that some people simply miss the road signs because they’re not paying attention#signfromGod

Some are statutory in their movement towards God#get moving.

My wife says I have no reference for time as my minute takes too long and then I reminded her that in the bible God’s day is as a 1000 years

When flying too high its hard to see the ground when your head is in the clouds.

I’ve known a couple of graves in which the only reference to it occupants were pioneer and stranger. At first this seems sad and then I thought, not bad, hopefully I’ve been a pioneer in life with an endeavor to preach the gospel while a stranger on Earth as simply passing through on my way to a heavenly home.

Thou I don’t condone speeding many people are thankful when others shine their lights in warning them to slow down to avoid ticketing yet hate those who try to warn them of Gods’ judgment #letyourlightshine

You’ve heard others say that I can tell you the secret but then I’ll have to kill you and the flip side of this is when Christ disclosed His identity it ended with His crucifixion.

If we could only imagine what God has to put up with in dealing with us then it might help us to be a little more patient with others.

Among the nations the Olympians have taken weapons of war and used them for sporting events but Jesus transforms weapons of war into productive implements of peace as joining every tribe, tongue, and nation#beatingswordsintoplowshares

We treat God like running a red stoplight on an empty intersection in thinking that no one is really there.

Choosing God may be a live option but so is eternal death

Some treat their holy books as extra credit towards the Bible even though they’ve been warned not to Deut. 4:2, Rev. 22:18-19

If we treated God’s word as delicately as dusting a priceless vase then perhaps we’d find more people less broken over its mishandling.

God hears our cries especially those of repentance.

We treat God like a competitor in hoping to beat Him at His own game.

A hard life is like an abrasive which takes us from the rough to form and polish us into a workable and beautiful person #christformedinyou

Some of the greatest moves in life are the ones you didn’t intend to make #followgod

You may think that all you need is just a man to fulfill you and so God provided the Son of Man as a helpmate so that you’d not be alone #joinedtojesus

Recently incest charges were filed against a mother and daughter who were married however if same-sex marriage is no big deal then how can a society make moral or ethical demands of right and wrong when these value judgments are inconsistent with the ongoing trend of a Godless nation that continues to evolve in this sexual revolution? #onenationundergod?

Election Day is like being trapped between a rock and a hard place #votefortherockofages

We wonder why bad things happen to good people but fail to consider how good things happen when we behave so badly #graceofgod

What would you think about someone who hates his loving parents? Then how about a person who rejects the fatherhood of a loving God?

How can Hell be on Earth when you’ve never been fully separated from the God of Heaven? #hellhasnohope

Christian discrimination isn’t about people, it’s their behaviors, and some fail to realize this disjunctive.

Religion can be like misdialing a phone number; just one number off may have you talking to someone other than God.

Sometimes we are overly concerned with our living arrangements and we should remember that Abraham had a mobile dwelling as only owning a burial plot and Jesus, though a carpenter, had no place to rest His head yet in the end one became a great nation while the other possessed a universal kingdom without end.

Lately, phobias of certain people groups has become the buzz word for the media but what of theophobia as wrongfully fearing and hating God? #dontbeafraid

John 15:25

18 There is no fear in love; but perfect love casts out fear, because fear has punishment. He who fears is not made perfect in love.

My friends who read the Tanakh have no problem in accepting the story of the sacrificial ram in place of Isaac. What they balk about is Jesus being offered on behalf of all mankind #godprovidedalamb, #readisaiah53

Some can accept the miracle of Sarah bearing a child at 90 years of age but would deny the miraculous virgin birth of Christ #foruntousachildisborn

There is no comparison between the Dead Sea Scrolls and the Nag Hammadi writings in that the former confirms the scripture while the latter contorts its message. The only thing they have in common is the Middle Eastern climate that preserved them both. #nodnamatch

Some treat natural selection as a god who is at work to bring about the good news of evolution as a religion that is preached by the prophets of Naturalism as to help its species survive and proliferate in a nontheistic environment.

Life is something everyone grasps for and there are some who are more interested in life extension literature in prolonging their death than reading about the Word that promotes eternal life. #ifyoudiedtodaywherewouldyougo?

Religions are notorious for their messengers and message but what sets Christ apart is that He is the message, the embodiment as the living Word.

John 1:14

14 The Word became flesh, and lived among us. We saw his glory, such glory as of the one and only Son of the Father, full of grace and truth.

We often preen ourselves superficially in the mirror to make us more presentable to others who already know what we look like in real life. If you think that such grooming will really hide your flaws then you’re only fooling yourself as no one else is convinced, not even God #psalm139

Psalm 139:1

Yahweh, you have searched me, and you know me.

The alchemy of God was in transforming others from death unto life.

Ephesians 2:5

even when we were dead through our trespasses, made others alive together with Christ (by grace you have been saved)

Trying to ascend into heaven through human efforts is like watching the batman movie in that some have looked upward from the pit of death with a false sense of hope in thinking they’ll climb out on their own when there is someone else standing topside to safely retrieve them from the darkness.

Colossians 1:13-14

13 He has delivered us from the domain of darkness and transferred us to the kingdom of his beloved Son, 14 in whom we have redemption, the forgiveness of sins.

If getting “in and out” of a relationship is easy then it’s not a relationship it’s a hamburger joint.

It seems like the scientific community is wanting to find another habitable planet to explain life on earth or at least propose the possibility of other life permitting planets or universes as a push back in rejecting a God theory of existence, yet even so, this does not necessarily answer the question of origins as it only pushes it back to an ultimate Originator who created all things including otherworldly possibilities as even a multiverse.

You may ask, “How is it that (many) finite choices of earthly rebellion towards God lead to an eternity of hellish torment?” And I’d respond, “What’s less fair when keeping score based on numbers in refusing a deal of a lifetime by making one finite earthly choice of obedience to Christ as gaining an eternity of heavenly bliss?” Now let me ask you a question, “How can you escape Hell by neglecting so great an offer of salvation?” #nowwhatsthequestion?#gofigure

When Christianity behaves like other religious systems then it’s not Christianity.

Ephesians 2:8-9

for by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God, not of works, that no one would boast.

Everyone has a worldview but more than likely it has you, Jeremiah 17:9. #theheartisdeceitful

I’m not just about making quotes rather I’m more interested in making disciples unto Christ, Matthew 28:19.

I bought an apple called Envy and thou I doubt the forbidden tree of Eden was an apple tree the name they picked is appealingly fruitful towards describing the human appetite as to desire and consume something that’s not theirs.

The only errors that you may have seemingly found in the Bible are the ones identified by using spell check.

People come in all colors, shapes, and sizes, and Jesus fits them all.

John 3:16

16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish, but have eternal life.

God’s law is contested as being inscribed on everyone’s heart but even if it were written on tablets of stone by the finger of God there’d still be those who would deny a divinely ordered moral law – Moral Lawgiver

Curiosity may have killed the cat but it also has taken humans lives as well, Genesis 2:17 #edensforbiddenfruit

Preaching a man-centered gospel is like depending on a human fire brigade to save you from the unquenchable flames of Hell.

Travelling from Chicago with all the road construction there were plenty of speed limit signs, radars, and warnings saying, ‘Slow Down’. Yet with all of these commands, people were unwilling to drive the speed limit as having the herd mentality that they won’t get caught as everyone else is doing it which is the same way that some people think about God. #Godallmighty

People place stones on graves as a memorial to honor others while some desired to throw stones as rejecting the Messiah, the Living Stone, 1 Peter 2:4. In the end the only stone that was left for Jesus was the one they rolled in front of His tomb to ensure His memory remained there as essentially unknown and yet for this Jewish Messiah to become world renown as the cornerstone for all nations seems a pretty good sign that the stone these builders had securely placed and sealed had been removed to reveal the empty tomb with a living and life-giving Messiah, Psalm 118:22. #Heisrisenindeed

If getting older is as beautiful as the fall. Then I hope the winter is delayed.

We don’t create human rights we only discover them.

If we could only love God like we love ourselves then the whole world would be converted.

Mark 12:30

I mostly try my best but sometimes it’s doesn’t end up the best way.

Have you felt like you’ve been perfectly set up for an evil attack thinking to yourself ‘now that’s pure Devil’.

Mathew 6:13

13 Bring us not into temptation, but deliver us from the evil one. For yours is the Kingdom, the power, and the glory forever. Amen

People want you to be perfect for them and so I’m thinking what they really need then is Jesus.

Have you noticed that some people put the gift of intelligence above that of someone who has an excellent moral aptitude as if wit has somehow outsmarted the wisdom of a virtuous character?

1 Corinthians 3:18-21

18 Let no one deceive himself. If anyone thinks that he is wise among you in this world, let him become a fool, that he may become wise. 19 For the wisdom of this world is foolishness with God. For it is written, “He has taken the wise in their craftiness.” 20 And again, “The Lord knows the reasoning of the wise, that it is worthless.” 21 Therefore let no one boast in men. 16 The Spirit himself testifies with our spirit that we are children of God;

If we’d begin calculating the man hours worked in acquiring the things we own then perhaps we’d be more mindful in not wasting our money on useless stuff that doesn’t really matter anyway and when comparing the work of Christ who paid with His life to possess us then we should recognize and appreciate the ultimate value of a worthwhile life spent on acquiring riches unto God which for our sake is eternally priceless, #sowhatsinyourtreasure

Mathew 16:26

26 For what will it profit a man, if he gains the whole world, and forfeits his life? Or what will a man give in exchange for his life?

Mathew 6:19-21

19 “Don’t lay up treasures for yourselves on the earth, where moth and rust consume, and where thieves break through and steal; 20 but lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust consume, and where thieves don’t break through and steal; 21 for where your treasure is, there your heart will be also.

Lust is never satisfied, as it is always hungry to eat out wherever it can find a cheap meal.

When some remove the miraculous workings of the Holy Spirit from the contemporary church then they move dangerously close to a replacement theology in exchanging a biblical theism with a modern-day revival of neo-deism.

Don’t insult Hell by comparing it to an Earthly existence nor Heaven for that matter. On Earth, there is a hopeful anticipation of a Heaven to come whereas in Hell there is no hope.

2 Thessalonians 1:8-9

giving vengeance to those who don’t know God, and to those who don’t obey the Good News of our Lord Jesus, who will pay the penalty: eternal destruction from the face of the Lord and from the glory of his might

Romans 8:16-18

16 The Spirit himself testifies with our spirit that we are children of God; 17 and if children, then heirs; heirs of God, and joint heirs with Christ; if indeed we suffer with him, that we may also be glorified with him. 18 For I consider that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory which will be revealed toward us.

I’ll admit when looking for a product I’m first drawn to the fancy packaging only to find out it may not always represent a superior product. False religions are packaged accordingly as with a consumer driven look that has been designed with an appealing wrapper to conceal its inferiority.

I am thinking that being in a penitentiary is like driving on a crazy freeway in that you need to pay attention to what is going on around you without staring or making gestures at anyone, #roadrage

False religion is like waiting to open a beautiful Christmas package that has been kept under the tree with your name on it. The problem is that you never really know what you’re going to get and then if you’re naughty the present may just suddenly disappear as having to hold off for yet another season to get your prize, if you even get it then. Yet Christ’s beautiful gift is not packaged like that in that ‘now is the day of salvation’ as the mystery of God has been revealed in opening up a new and living way so as to enjoy the goodness of His Present (Presence) as He was hung on a tree so that your name would be indelibly inscribed in the ‘Lamb’s Book of Life’. #merrychristmas

Some people want to be in control so much that they will even use religion as a means to their end. Interestingly enough, Jesus relinquished His will to the Father while false teachers and prophets insist on their will being done.

I had my wife pick me up some jerky and she made the mistake of getting the wrong kind which turned out for the better as I enjoyed it even more than the other. In comparison, you might mistake someone else as a jerk when challenging you to enjoy Jesus over other worldviews. #tasteandseethattheLordisgood

Some people want you to respect their decisions no matter what and what I don’t understand is why they would rather hold on to their respect while risking the possibility of losing their honor, #theydidittheirway

Proverbs 12:15

15

The way of a fool is right in his own eyes,

but he who is wise listens to counsel.

Proverbs 18:2-3

A fool has no delight in understanding,

but only in revealing his own opinion.

When wickedness comes, contempt also comes,

and with shame comes disgrace.

What kind of god leaves you wondering about your eternal destiny? I’d be wondering about that god.
