The Japanese culture is religiously vast and diverse, made up of both traditional religions as well as new religious movements known as shinshukyo or shinko shukyo. This Japanese society reminds me of the ancient Greek civilization of Athens as people who were eager for the latest philosophy or newest idea. However in spite of this explosive cult phenomena there still remains a large group of atheists and agnostics which are skeptical as to assign all religion to mere human superstition and myth.
